Who We Are

We are a small group of dog people in the truest sense of the phrase. We are the ones pointing out breeds on every walk, sending Petfinder links to friends who so much as mention wanting a dog, and stopping mid conversation to admire a dog we have never seen before. We have spent years reading, researching, watching videos, talking to vets, and learning everything we can about what makes dogs healthy and happy.

Simply put, we count our dogs as family, even more important than some (but do not tell them). Every single thing we build is done with their well being in mind, because to us they are not dogs. They are family.

Why We Created Companion

My dog Mac struggled for years. She itched nonstop, battled chronic ear infections, and her coat looked older and duller than it should have. The only real relief came from a long list of supplements, powders, oils, and pills. They worked, but the routine was exhausting. Every morning felt like mixing a chemistry set. It was expensive, messy, and not sustainable.
